Sun, Jun 30, 2013

Alongside a host of new offers and policies for customer groups - including annual members complimentary racegoing and its new owners & trainers policy - ARC have recently launched a kids club. Aimed at young children joining their families at the races, the 'Young Hooves Club' is part of boosting what's on offer at Family Racedays and aims to ensure young children enjoy their day at the races and become future fans of racing.

ARC aim to recruit 10,000 youngsters to their Young Hooves Club this year, which has been launched during the busy summer season of family racedays, 3,000 new members have already signed up. When new members join the club, either at the racecday or online, they receive a range of benefits including viewing binoculars, racing themed puzzles, games and competitions and a card from Archie the clubs Mascot on their Birthday. All of the material is very much based on educating the members about the horse.

Director of Marketing Mel Armstrong said "It's free to join the Young Hooves kids' club and it's free for under-18s to get into all our meetings, so for a family of four - who pay from about £10 each per adult to enter - a day at the races and family entertainment can start from as little as just £20. Racing has always been a great value family day out and we are keen to ensure that continues."

Across all 15 of its racecourses, around 75,000 visitors will attend ARC's family themed events this year alone.

To join, children can visit www.younghooves.co.uk and fill in their details online and pick up their activity packs at Family racedays.
