Big Screens At All ARC Courses

Thu, Jul 4, 2013

Big Viewing Screens will shortly be in place at all Arena Racing Company (ARC) Racecourse fixtures, which make up 40% of the overall fixture list. Viewing screens have been widely used by ARC racecourses in the past, but have not always been available for each fixture. Now all the racecourses within the group will be using them at every meeting with 100% coverage at some point during the final quarter of 2013. The All Weather tracks in the group will have permanent screens in place.

Four additional big screens have been purchased by the ARC group and a hire deal put in place to ensure coverage at the other courses; the current ARC screen has been fully refurbished; this considerable investment is part of a continued drive towards improving the customer experience on course for racegoers.

Tony Kelly, Managing Director said "This is an investment of over £1,000,000 across the group and it is all part of our desire to increase the enjoyment of racegoers and provide them with good viewing opportunities at all of our racecourses'

The Racehorse Owners Association have been one organisation who have been keen to see all racecourse have big screens and with this feedback in mind ARC have been continuing in their program of development to enhance the raceday for all its customer groups, including owners
