Ronald McDonald's a front runner at racing

Mon, Oct 21, 2013

Horses and happy faces were the order of the day for supporters of a popular charity.

Staff and guests of Ronald McDonald House - a charity that works to support families of sick children graced the turf at Brighton Racecourse on Thursday for the venue's season finale.

Faces from the charity enjoyed a three-course lunch followed by an auction and fundraising raffle before watching a quality card of flat racing action.

The charity wants people to sign up to a £5 monthly donation, which will help with the running costs of their 18-room facility at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
