Football fans will have the chance to spot several famous faces at Brighton Racecourse on Tuesday 21st June, as The Lily Foundation hosts a fundraising evening.

Former West Ham manager and ex Brighton & Hove Albion player Alan Curbishley will be joined by former Premier League players Tony Gale, Tony Cottee and Mark Bright to help raise money for the charity to fund research into Mitrochondrial Disease, for which there is currently no cure.

Mitrochondrial Disease is a condition where cells in the body do not produce enough energy in order to support growth and organ function.

Callum Mackay, General Manager at Brighton Racecourse said: "It will be an absolute pleasure to welcome these sporting icons to the racecourse and it will be exciting for our race-goers to see celebrities amongst the crowd. I'm delighted that we are able to support The Lily Foundation and help raise awareness of such a worthwhile cause."

The day will get underway from 12.30pm, with the first of seven races ready for the off at 2.30pm. There will be entertainment after racing from tribute act The Magic of Take That & Robbie.

General admission tickets are available priced from £10 in advance.
