Frosts Ladies Day - £2000 for the Best Dressed Lady!

Sun, Jul 22, 2012

Brighton Racecourse is continuing with the introduction of new initiatives for its 2012 season for Frosts Ladies Day.

The season highlight on Thursday 9th August features something new for 2012 - £2000 for the Best Dressed Lady!

So far this year the Racecourse has launched its 'Come Racing for a Tenner' campaign and is now involved in the 'Let's Get Britain Racing'.

General Manager at Brighton Racecourse Stuart Dorn said, "For this season we are trying to encourage new racegoers to come and experience a race day, as well as offering something new for our existing customers.

"We have continued the successes of previous seasons with the first race meeting for free and for all of the season children under 16 coming in for free, but we wanted to introduce our own initiatives to build on this. The first two schemes we have launched this year have proved successful, with our attendances up on last year.

"Ladies Day is the date in everyone's calendar in the city! We have fantastic support from our lead sponsor Frosts, and partners for the day Piper Heidsieck, brighton implant clinic and advanced dentistry, Ted Baker, thistle and electric, so we wanted to enhance the meeting for those attending!

"What better way is there than the prize of £2000? In the current climate and with the summertime so far failing to appear, you could come and enjoy a day's racing and walk away with £2000 without even having a bet!"
