Silks Restaurant and Balcony Bar
Silks Restaurant at the top of the Premier Enclosure serves a gourmet, three-course menu for just £55.00 per head. This price includes admission to the premier enclosure.
The restaurant package includes:
- Admission to the Premier Enclosure
- A reserved table for the entire afternoon
- A mouth-watering, three-course, silver-service menu
- Full waitress service
- tote betting facilities and televisions so that you don’t miss any of the action
Prices are:

There are a limited number of places so book now to avoid disappointment!
Making the most of your Silks Restaurant experience:
- Your table will be available from 12.15pm onwards, once the main gates are open.
- Most first races take place between 2pm and 2.30pm - please check our website for further details.
- Most diners choose to have starters served at 12.30pm or 1pm but you can confirm what time you want to dine when you book your table.
- The bar is open until 30 minutes after the last race.
Dress Code:
If you’re going to be eating food fit for the Sport of Kings please dress accordingly. There’s no need to wear a jacket and tie but trainers, shorts and t-shirts cannot be worn in Silks Restaurant.

Bars & Food Outlets
Premier Enclosure
Premier Bar
Found on the ground floor of the grandstand, this bar leads out onto the premier lawn and is a great place to meet up and enjoy a drink.
Paddock Bar
The Paddock Bar on the ground floor of the Premier enclosure offers a full range of draught beers, wines, spirits and other drinks. Access to both the parade ring and trackside viewing is a few steps away.
Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure
Long Bar
On the ground floor of the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure, what is widely regarded as the longest bar in Brighton and Hove offers a full range of draught lagers, beers, wines and spirits. There is also Tote betting and easy access to trackside viewing.
The Café & Barrie Cope’s Seafood Bar
On the ground floor of the enclosure, visit the cafeteria, which serves a selection of hot and cold snacks. Sausage and mash and other hot dishes start from £4.00, with pies and pasties at £2.00. A range of sandwiches, cakes and hot beverages is also available. If you are looking for a more traditional seaside snack, try out Barrie Cope’s Seafood Bar.
The Sweet Shop
The sweet shop offers Cigarettes and Cigars as well as a selection of cold drinks, ice creams, sweets, chocolate and crisps. Located at the sweet shop is also a free cloakroom service.
Fast Food Outlets
There is a selection of mobile fast food units around the racecourse, serving fish and chips, burger and hot dog meals, and soft drinks.
Picnics
If you would like to bring your own food, picnics are allowed along the track (at a cost of £5 per car on top of your entrance fee) or in the main car parks before, during and after racing.
