An annual badge provides admission to the Premier Enclosure for the equivalent of just over £8 per race meeting and includes:
Brighton Racecourse will have 19 fixtures in 2008, and our popular August Festival will revert to the three-day format. There will be three Sunday meetings at Brighton Racecourse next season, commencing with our season opener on Sunday 27th April, and (as was the case this season) no evening racing.
We have been able to organise more than 50 reciprocal race meetings at a range of courses around the UK including local favourites such as Fontwell Park, Sandown Park, Ascot, Goodwood, Plumpton and Lingfield Park. Where possible, we have tried to make these on or around weekends.
Upon arrival at the course every annual badge holder will receive a complimentary race programme. The programme lists the day's runners and riders and tips on how to pick a winner. This is an annual saving of almost £50 per person.
You are eligible to bring two friends for free to a meeting of your choice, or one guest to two separate fixtures (excluding the August Festival).
This popular competition, whereby an annual badge holder has won the right to name a race, will be repeated for the final race fixture in 2008 with one lucky badge holder having the opportunity to open their copy of the Racing Post in the morning and see a race at Brighton that they have named. On the actual race day the winner will also enjoy a complimentary meal in our Silks Restaurant and then make presentation to the winning connections of their named race.
You will be invited to join our Clerk of the Course, and the General Manager, for a bacon buttie and a pre-season walk of the course. You will be advised of the date for this ‘Brighton Breezy’ walk prior to the start of the 2008 race season.
If you recommend a friend you will receive £50 of Tote betting vouchers (this is applicable to annual badge purchases made by people who have not previously been annual badge holders at Brighton Racecourse)
We have agreed a 10% discount for annual badge holders at one of Brighton’s favourite restaurants – Donatello. Just present your annual badge on arrival and the 10% discount will be applied to your total bill (discount not available on Saturdays). We have also agreed a 25% discount for annual badge holders on the price of a standard single ‘Friends of the Theatre’ membership at Brighton’s Theatre Royal. As a friend of the theatre you will receive benefits such as discounts on drinks at the bar, offers for certain performances, plus priority booking and advance information. To apply for this discount just contact us and we will arrange for the theatre to get in touch with you.
A gourmet menu awaits you in Silks restaurant; the food is freshly prepared with ingredients sourced, where possible, from local suppliers. Lunch is £40 per person to annual badge holders. For those not dining in Silks, the Balcony Bar is open to annual badge holders but, due to the increasing popularity of Silks restaurant, access to the Balcony Bar only will be on a first come, first served basis. Smart casual attire is required for both Silks restaurant and the Balcony Bar.
The price of an annual badge for the 2008 season is just £165 – that’s the equivalent of getting a Premier badge for less than £8 per race meeting!
