The last race meet of the summer is on 3rd September and is also the date for the Sunday Social, at Brighton’s unique, historic racecourse. Guests can soak up spectacular views across the south coast as they enjoy the converted VW campers that make up The Bugbar, serving the finest gin cocktails, and The Discobug where Made In Chelsea star, Alex Mytton will be spinning the tunes between races. The Social takes place on 3rd September at the last race meet of the summer and is the ideal place to catch up with friends while enjoying some quality entertainment for the whole family. Adults can enjoy a tasty slice of hand-made pizza, as well as the converted VW campers that make up The Bugbar, serving a range of selected gins and surprise cocktails, and The Discobug, where Made In Chelsea star, Alex Mytton, will be DJing live in between races. Children will love the hand-picked entertainment, from kids horse racing to face paints. And to top it off, there’s all the excitement of a day at the races. Alongside the Bugbar will be its partner, The Discobug, a converted VW camper complete with disco lighting and built-in turntables. DJ Alex Mytton, better known as one of the stars of the hugely popular Channel 4 show, Made In Chelsea, will be spinning the Sunday Social soundtrack, as guests catch up with friends over pizza and a cocktail. And of course, everyone can enjoy the thundering excitement of the horse racing, with a full racecard throughout the day.

Advanced Ticket Offers, including added value packages, finish at 3pm the day before each raceday. Tickets bought “on-the-gate” will carry a £6 premium per ticket.

Brighton Racecourse does not operate a strict dress code and suggests smart/casual wear for both Enclosures. Smart Jeans and trainers are permitted. On our feature Racedays however, racegoers do enjoy dressing smartly for the occasion and many Ladies wear hats – which although is not obligatory is still great fun!
