Owners & Trainers

At Brighton Racecourse, Owners, Syndicates & Shared Ownerships may request up to 8 complimentary O&T badges per runner (registered through PASS in advance of the day) for the Owners & Trainers Lounge, which includes a complimentary luncheon.

If you’d prefer, any owner with a runner on the day may request 20 syndicate badges, which will give you access to the Syndicates Lounge. Unfortunately, you cannot have a combination of the two so please choose in advance whether you’d like to enjoy the O&T or Syndicate Lounge facilities.

Eight Owners per horse can be admitted into the Parade Ring. However, we appreciate this is a big part of any owner's visit so if you would like more badges please ask in advance and where possible we will do what we can. Please note, even if requested we can’t guarantee more than 8 Parade Ring passes.

Our Owners & Trainers Lounge is reserved exclusively for Owners & Trainers with runners on that raceday. You’ll find it on the ground floor beside the Owners Entrance with views of the parade ring and you can enjoy a complimentary luncheon along with Tea & Coffee, a full bar and tote service. If you have any specific dietary or allergen requirements, please let us know in advance by emailing syndicates@brighton-racecourse.co.uk

Tables within the Owners & Trainers Lounge cannot be reserved for the day and we kindly ask that when you have finished your lunch, please consider vacating or offering to share your table with other O&T, so that everyone can enjoy their experience.

If you would like to dine in the main Silks Restaurant, we can provide you with an exclusive 25% discount. Located on the second floor, this wonderful restaurant includes fantastic views of the racecourse, from its terrace. Please contact us to find out more.

Syndicates & Shared ownerships have the opportunity to enjoy our exclusive Syndicate Lounge, which is located in Executive Boxes 1 & 2, providing direct access to the Grandstand steppings, and one of the best views overlooking the racecourse.

This gives you a private base to enjoy time with fellow syndicate members and includes complimentary Tea, Coffee & biscuits with a pay bar and light food offer. Please note, this must be booked in advance.

We provide reserved parking for Owners, please follow directional signage and stewards on the day.

A number of forward parking spaces are reserved for Accessibility and Blue Badges. These are offered on a first come basis. Brighton is the nearest Train Station, just 1.6 miles from the racecourse. There are also regular buses from the city centre which drop you off outside the racecourse.

When you arrive at Brighton Racecourse, please park in our Owners & Trainers Car Park. The postcode is BN2 9XZ and it is to your right upon entrance and clearly signposted. Our parking stewards will be on hand to happily assist, and the majority of our car park is on grass.

Our Owners & Trainers entrance is at the Owners & Trainers Car Park. This is where you collect your badges and meal vouchers, and our dedicated team will be able to answer any queries you may have.

We aim to offer 8 places per runner in the Parade Ring for each race. We do try to be flexible around smaller races, and equally please note this number may have to be lowered in the instance of large fields. Children U12 are not permitted access into the Parade Ring.

The Parade Ring can be found to your right as you enter the course.

Owners are welcome to watch the racing from any of the public areas. The stepping outside the Grandstand offers elevated views over the racecourse and finishing straight and of the ocean! There is also an exclusive viewing area for Owners & Syndicate Owners on the third floor of the Grandstand, offering one of the best views of the racecourse! This is fully accessible with lift access in the Grandstand building.

For those unable to join on the day, all racing from Brighton Racecourse is broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing Channel 415 and you’ll be able to see a replay of your race within minutes of the finish at www.attheraces.com.

There is a presentation in the Winners Enclosure for every winning Owner after the race. You can choose your preferred memento to take home, and you’ll also be given an ARC bag containing a complimentary photograph, a USB copy of your race and details of the course photographer. For those not able to join us on the day, the bag will be handed to your Trainer or their representative.

If winning owners are not available, we will endeavour to invite placed connections to enjoy the same experience.

All winning, placed and all Owners on the day receive complimentary USB copies of their race - multiple copies are available should syndicates require them. We also offer the same to all stable staff associated with a runner on the day – please speak to Sam Bridle or Barbara Hogan for any additional copies.

Yes, if children are accompanied by an adult they are welcome in our O&T facilities.

We offer a maximum of two places to those aged U12, which includes lunch. Those over 12 will be considered as part of the Owner's badge allocation on the day and will require an O&T badge and luncheon voucher for access.

If children would like something different to the O&T menu offered on the day, please just let the Host know and we will be pleased to arrange this.

The O&T restaurant and Syndicate lounge are both wheelchair accessible. We have a ramp leading into the O&T restaurant and a lift in the Premier Enclosure will take you straight up to the Syndicate Lounge. Accessible toilets can be found within both. If you have restricted mobility or require assistance please call Sam Bridle in advance on 07584 495069 who will be happy to help.

We do not operate a dress code. However, we do encourage dressing up for the occasion of a day at the races, and appropriate for the weather. We do also hold a Best Dressed competition on our Ladies Day Fixture!

Brighton Racecourse operates as a cashless site. Bookmakers do still allow cash and cash back can be obtained from the Tote.

A Going Report for all race days is made seven days before each fixture, and updated regularly through TurfTrax.

On racedays feedback postcards or ROA QR code feedback is available in all O&T facilities.  Please take time to complete these and hand to a member of staff so that we can learn what we are doing well, and where we can do better.

A Britbet Betting Shop is located inside the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure.  Additionally there are a number of Britbet and Tote windows around the racecourse, including the O&T Lounge.

Bookmakers also operate outside on the trackside area between the finishing straight and Grandstand Stepping’s.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi on site – once you’ve registered at an ARC racecourse this automatically gives you access each time you visit any of our 16 racecourses. You need to register the first time you want to use it and details are available inside the O&T and Syndicate Lounge.

The safety and welfare of horse and rider are of absolute importance to us at Brighton Racecourse. Central to that is the track itself and our groundstaff do everything in their power to provide an optimum racing surface each time a fixture takes place.

We have a dedicated and experienced team of highly qualified Vets, Doctors and Paramedics on duty each raceday, following the action at every stage. Their key responsibility is to monitor and provide care to each and every competitor during their time at the racecourse.

The locations and vehicle movements of these skilled specialists during racing are designed to provide a rapid response to any incident across the site. We also have a high-specification horse ambulance in attendance at every fixture to ensure the safe transport of a horse from the track to our on-site veterinary treatment facility for further treatment, or to the nearest equine referral hospital if required.

Please be aware it is our standard practice to place screens around any horse or jockey requiring attention on the course because it provides privacy and a safe, calm environment in which to accurately diagnose and treat the patient as necessary. Please do not assume the worst if screens are erected.

At Brighton Racecourse we are fully committed to minimising risk in our sport, to dealing professionally and efficiently with any injury, and to maintaining the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys racing here today.

Winning owners will receive a complimentary photo of their horse.

There will also be a winning photograph from each race uploaded to our X page @BrightonRace on the day.

Any announcements about Inspections or the abandonment of racing or races will be made through Racing Admin and shared on our social media including Facebook, X and Instagram.
