Owners & Trainers

At Brighton Racecourse, Owners, Syndicates & Shared Ownerships may request up to 8 complimentary O&T badges per runner (registered through PASS in advance of the day) for the Owners & Trainers Lounge, which includes a complimentary luncheon. 

If you’d prefer, any owner with a runner on the day may request 20 syndicate badges, which will give you access to the Syndicates Lounge. Should you wish to book the Syndicates Lounge please email syndicates@brighton-racecourse.co.uk by 16:00 the day before racing. We do not offer a mixture or combination of both badge offers, so Owners must choose in advance if they wish to enjoy O&T or Syndicate Lounge facilities.

At the discretion of the racecourse, additional badges may be requested but are not guaranteed.

Eight Owners per horse can be admitted into the Parade Ring. However, we appreciate this is a very important part of your visit, and if you require more badges, please ask in advance and where possible, we aim to be flexible.

Our Owners & Trainers Lounge is reserved exclusively for Owners & Trainers with runners on a raceday. You’ll find it on the ground floor beside the Owners Entrance with views of the parade ring. You can enjoy a complimentary luncheon along with tea & coffee, a TOTE, a full bar and toilet facilities. We also have three big screen TV’s for you to watch all the action and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Tables within the Owners & Trainers Lounge cannot be reserved for the day and we kindly ask that when you have finished your lunch, please consider vacating or offering to share your table with other O&T, so that everyone can enjoy their experience.

If you would like to dine in the main Silks Restaurant, we provide Owners with an exclusive 25% discount. Silks Restaurant is located on the second floor and offers fantastic views of the racecourse from its terrace. Please contact us on 07584495069 to find out more.

Syndicates & Shared ownerships have the opportunity to enjoy our exclusive Syndicates Lounge, which is located in Executive Boxes 1 & 2 on level 3 of our Grandstand. It is an exclusive space for Owners and provides direct access to the Grandstand steppings as well as offering one of the best views overlooking the racecourse. There is lift and steps access to the lounge. 

Our Syndicates Lounge gives you a private base to enjoy time with fellow syndicate members and includes a complimentary hot jacket potato meal option, tea, coffee and biscuits with a pay bar and toilet facilities. We also have two big screens to watch all of the racing action! Please note, this must be booked in advance.

At Brighton Racecourse we provide parking for Owners which is located to your right as you enter the course. The majority of our parking is on grass. Please follow directional signage and stewards on the day.

A number of forward parking spaces are reserved for Accessibility and Blue Badges. These are offered on a first come basis. Brighton is the nearest Train Station, just 1.6 miles from the racecourse. There are also regular buses from the city centre which drop you off outside the racecourse. Our Owners & Trainers entrance is near to the Owners & Trainers Car Park and is signposted. Our experienced team will be waiting here to welcome you and to provide you with your badges and meal vouchers as well as giving you any vital information necessary.

Owners with runners at Brighton Racecourse may enter the Parade Ring for their race. 

We aim to offer 8 places per runner in the Parade Ring for each race. We do try to be flexible where we can if we receive requests in advance for additional passes. Please note this is not guaranteed. 

Children U12 are not permitted to enter the Parade Ring. 

Owners are welcome to watch the racing from any of the public areas. The steppings outside the Grandstand offers elevated views over the racecourse and finishing straight (and of the ocean!) There is also an exclusive viewing area for Owners & Syndicate Owners on the third floor of the Grandstand, offering one of the best views of the racecourse! This is fully accessible with lift access in the Grandstand building.

For those watching back home, all racing from Brighton Racecourse is broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing Channel 415 and you’ll be able to see a replay of your race within minutes of the finish at www.attheraces.com.

After cheering home your winner, a presentation in the Winners Enclosure for every winning Owner takes place after the race. Winning Owners will then be invited by host Barbara Hogan to enjoy a glass of champagne whilst you watch a replay of your horse’s victory!

You can choose your preferred memento to take home on the day which will be carefully packed into an ARC bag containing a complimentary photograph, a USB copy of your race and details of the course photographer. For those not able to join us on the day, the bag will be handed to your Trainer or their representative.

A winning card and photograph also is given to the groom who led up the winner.

If winning owners are not available, we will endeavour to invite placed connections to enjoy a glass of champagne and watch their replay. 

All winning, placed and Owners on the day will be offered complimentary USB copies of their race while multiple copies are available should Owners require them. We also offer the same to all stable staff associated with a runner on the day – please speak to Sam Bridle or Barbara Hogan for any additional copies.

Children are warmly welcomed into the O&T facilities when accompanied by an adult.

For those under aged 12, we offer a maximum of two places which includes lunch. Guests over 12 will be considered as part of the Owners badge allocation on the day and will require an O&T badge and luncheon voucher for access.

Should your young guests prefer something different from the menu offered on the day in our Owners & Trainers facilities, please do not hesitate to let the Host know and we will be pleased to arrange this.

The O&T restaurant and Syndicate lounge are both wheelchair accessible. We have a ramp leading into the O&T restaurant and a lift in the Premier Enclosure which will take you straight up to the Syndicates Lounge. 

Accessible toilets can be found within both. If you have restricted mobility or require assistance please call Sam Bridle in advance on 07584 495069 who will be happy to help.

We do not operate a dress code. However, we do encourage dressing up for the occasion of a day at the races, and appropriate for the weather. 

We do also hold a Best Dressed competition on our Ladies Day Fixture!

Brighton Racecourse operates as a cashless site. Bookmakers do still allow cash and cash back can be obtained from Britbet.

A Going Report for all race days is made seven days before each fixture, and updated regularly through TurfTrax.

On racedays feedback postcards or ROA QR code feedback is available in all O&T facilities. Please take the time to complete these and hand to a member of staff so that we can learn what we are doing well, and where we can improve.

Britbet pool betting facilities are located inside the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure. Additionally there are a number of Britbet windows around the racecourse, including the O&T Lounge.

Bookmakers also operate outside on the trackside area between the finishing straight and Grandstand Stepping’s.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi on site – once you’ve registered at an ARC racecourse this automatically gives you access each time you visit any of our 16 racecourses. You need to register the first time you want to use it, and details are available inside the O&T and Syndicate Lounge.

The safety and wellbeing of horse and rider are of absolute importance to us at Brighton Racecourse. Central to that is the track itself and our ground staff do everything in their power to provide an optimum racing surface each time a fixture takes place. 

We have a dedicated and experienced team of highly qualified Vets, Doctors and Paramedics on duty each raceday, following the action at every stage. Their key responsibility is to monitor and provide care to each and every competitor during their time at the racecourse.

The locations and vehicle movements of these skilled specialists during racing are designed to provide a rapid response to any incident across the site. We also have a high-specification horse ambulance in attendance at every fixture to ensure the safe transport of a horse from the track to our on-site veterinary treatment facility for further treatment, or to the nearest equine referral hospital if required.

You may notice privacy screens being used during a race at Brighton, please note that this is standard practise to give vets and medics a discreet place to work with the utmost care.

At Brighton Racecourse we are fully committed to minimising risk in our sport, to dealing professionally and efficiently with any injury, and to maintaining the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys racing here today.

Winning owners will receive a complimentary photo of their horse on the day.

There will also be a winning photograph from each race uploaded to our X page @BrightonRace on the day.

Any announcements about Inspections or the abandonment of racing or races will be made through Racing Admin and shared on Brighton Racecourse’s social media including Facebook, X and Instagram.

We have a number of local taxi companies in Brighton, including Streamline Taxis 01273 202020, which we would advise booking in advance. Please feel free to ask for assistance on the day.
