Hump day, sorted (sea view included): on Wednesday 28 April we're racing into the evening at Brighton Racecourse. It's horse racing in April with the sun going down over the Channel.
There's a special buzz up here once the light starts to soften. The runners thunder round our horseshoe of a track and down the hill, and you can hear the jockeys shouting as they come to the line. Plant yourself on the rail and you'll be close enough to feel the wind as they fly past.
April evenings on the hill can be fresh, so wrap your hands round a hot drink between races and make a night of it. Straight from work, a catch-up with friends or a date with a difference. All work.
