The 2:45 is an interesting nursery over the flying five furlongs. There are just six runners in this. The horse that for me is interesting is the Six horse, the bottom weight, Redditizio. This horse has been placed four times out of seven but was beaten less than a length last time out.

He gets in with bottom weight, 8 stone 8. Georgia Dobie's on board and I think the horse has got a good chance. He's trained by Stan Moore and - this is a joke - is the only trainer named after a London tube station, Stanmore! Right, the danger here would be number two London is Blue. That horse won at the track last time out. He's been put up seven pounds.

The interesting horse is number four, Beach Partee, who actually ran at Royal Ascot, would you believe? But he was last of 23 in the Windsor Castle.

I'm going for number six, Redditizio to beat number two London Is Blue.

In the 3:15, The six-furlong maiden is just the four runners in this, but I do like number three Jazl. This horse made a very promising debut in second of the 15 runners at Thirsk last month, ran green, but then stayed on very promising.

Simon and Ed Crisford, the trainers, have a 25% strike rate at the moment. And by the way, Ed Crisford's getting married this week, so it'd be a rather nice wedding present if he could do that.

The danger, obviously, number two, Ironwill, who was third of seven at Salisbury, and Stuart Williams, the trainer, on a 28% strike rate at the moment.

But I'm going for number three Jazl to win there.

Now, what else have we got here? It's an interesting day at Brighton and I think a horse that's worth following in the 3:50 is number six Starsong. This horse is ultra consistent, in the frame in its last six races and won at Brighton and was then fourth at Lingfield.

Alistair Rawlinson rides for trainer Mick Appleby. The dangers, well, the one horse You Are Everything is obviously a big danger. This horse is onto the hattrick. He won at Chepstow, then he won at Leicester. He has been put up three pounds. But Tony Carroll, top trainer at Brighton, likes winning there. Can he give the weight away?

Number eight, Valadero. He's 0 from 24, but he was a good second beaten in a photo at Windsor last time out. And Brian Toomey trains him. You Are Everything is going to take the beating, but he's got top weight. Going to take a chance with number six Starsong. That's at Brighton. Those are my three for Brighton on Monday afternoon.
